Rani's 8th Grade Dance

Awe, our little girl is all growed up! (Tear) Rani went to the 8th Grade Dance with her boyfriend, Brendon. Yep, she has a boyfriend! Her "bestie" Jaclyn also went and afterward they all took a limo ride to Kemah to enjoy a fancy dinner. When asked how it went, she said "It was literally the best night of my life! I didn't want the night to end!... I can't stop thinking about him!"
Rani's Last Orchestra Concert
So this was Rani's last Orchestra concert. Next year she will be in 9th grade. HIGH SCHOOL! Ahh! And she would rather take dance even though everyone wants her to keep playing her instrument. Anyway, they sounded good and played two really cool songs.

Rick's 40th Birthday

We had Rick's 40 birthday party this past weekend. It was at Gamaw's house with all of the usual suspects. We had one of his favorites... chili with Mexican pancakes. And for dessert, banana pudding and dirt cake, what else?! He's 'older than dirt' now! hehe. The dirt cake is in the middle of the table (It's hardly recognizable)! Amelie looked precious but his favorite gift of the night... a huge flashlight! HUGE!
