the Engagement Party

Now the real work began. Not to fear, I had my mom and sister on my side! First, the engagement party hosted by Rick's wonderful sister, Susan. I have never been to such a fancy event! And the best part is that it was all for Rick and I! What a great time we all had. Rick's step father was there wearing all smiles. (Sadly, he too has passed away but we were lucky enough to share our wedding day with him.)
